Here in Isabela the odd-couple of the Rooster and the Black chicken.
Unfortunately the rooster and some chickens were killed and the chickens spread out in self defense. Eventually got another rooster and all came back. We have more measures now to protect them. It's a wild west for them...and they are the food for many.
The rooster is needed to keep the chickens around and protects them. They are VERY
proud animals and natural fighters. They are always a natural alarm-clock for all of us.
They all seem o be always hungry - its a hard life - always seeking food in the ground.
Always wary of the surrounding attackers.
